Welcome to

  Wiesenhof Initiative gGmbH

‘At the Wiesenhof, participants learn about the interrelationships of agricultural production with all their senses, experience practical work and get up close and personal with the farm animals.’

At the Wiesenhof, Viola and Frank combine agriculture, child, youth and family support, farm education, riding therapy and climate protection. Between fields, animals and community, a place is created where climate protection, social responsibility and sustainable agriculture go hand in hand – characterised by togetherness and the joy of nature.

Who lends a hand here:

‘Just do it instead of talking.’
~ Viola, Wiesenhof Initiative gGmbH

The agroforestry system

Diverse plant selection to try out many different crops in combination: including walnut, pecan, almond, apple, pear, persimmon, medlar, quince, hazelnut, jujube, peach, fig, plum, mayberry, blueberry.
In between, cultivation of vegetables, oil crops and cereals as well as arable fodder cultivation for free-range poultry.
Details → Rows of trees orientated north-south for the best possible cultivation of the arable land, even with increasing shading; also the best possible wind protection.

We are proud of the cooperation. The commitment and enthusiasm of those involved make the Wiesenhof a special place that combines agriculture, social responsibility and climate protection.

Would you also like to get involved in sustainable, regional agriculture? Then support us – together we can make a big difference!
